Don't really know what happened to this ANN LAWTON as there were numerous Ann Lawton's died in Ashton Districts and Saddleworth between 1841 and 1851 (Refer ONS Death Index) which would require further extensive research.

The marriages below don't really support the fact that it was this ANN LAWTON that married either male below, I have checked the couples below in the 1851 Census returns and neither seems to correspond to the above Ann Lawton. (Further research required)

Lawton, Anne (1839 - ) - female
b. APR_JUN 1839 in Bottoms, Stayley, Cheshire, England.

Ann Lawton is found with Step-Mother Hannah & siblings at Bottoms, Stayley in 1861...but she in not with the family in 1871 - so presumably she married between the years 1861 & 1871 - Below is the list of marriages during that time frame at Tameside - Having checked the Deaths Registers at Tameside between the years 1861 and 1871- I found no Ann Lawton of corresponding age to suggest that this Ann Lawton died between 1861-1871 - so I presume she must have married - (Follow-up)
